Client Directory keeps your customer contacts in one place. It isn't just an address book: each client row also shows how many sales deals they have and what those are worth. You can tell straight from the list which accounts the work is concentrated in.
Deals recorded in the pipeline are grouped per client to produce the counts and totals. The grouping key is the company name, so a deal's company has to be spelled the same as the client record for it to be counted — keeping naming consistent is worth the small effort.
Scattered cards make it impossible to spot the account with the most deals. One client per row puts the numbers side by side, and sorting on those columns brings the important ones to the top.
Delete a client and the deals you ran with that company stay in the pipeline. Cleaning the address book doesn't cost you the record.
Deals in Sales Pipeline are grouped by matching company name. Open value excludes won and lost deals; won value counts only the ones marked won.
If the company name on the deal doesn't match the client record character for character, they aren't grouped together. Check for stray spaces or a different spelling of the company name.
No. Only the client record is removed; the deals remain in Sales Pipeline.
Company name and contact person. For deal counts and amounts it's quicker to sort by the column than to search.
