Business expense management insights
Expenses as insights — monthly trend, dept/category comparison, MoM, top spend items.
This app works with your workspace data. Create a workspace after signing up to use it.
Expense Insight breaks your expense reports down by department, period and category. It shows which department spent what and which categories grew, as rankings and shares. Ledger View lists the same data and Anomaly Watch monitors it — three screens over one set of records.
Ledger View lists them by month; this screen splits them up for analysis. Nothing is copied over or re-entered, so there is no reason for the numbers to disagree.
It flags single claims above five times the 30-day median, and individual totals above three times the per-person average. Candidates surface before you have to hunt for them here.
The data is the same; the way you look at it differs. Ledger View is where you list a month and check it, and Expense Insight is where you split it by department, category and period to compare.
Department totals are ranked largest first. Counts appear too, so a department with few claims but a large total is still distinguishable.
Anomaly Watch scans the same data by rule and raises candidates. It looks at single-claim spikes and spikes in an individual's total.
Pick a period and it re-aggregates on the same terms, so this month and last month can be compared in the same screen layout.
