Forms is where you build a form for a request, a survey or a feedback round, and collect answers from your team. You assemble it from five field types — short text, long text, single choice, multiple choice and rating — and the results update as answers come in. The people answering are your workspace members, so nobody has to be invited separately or given a new account.
What this app does
- Builds a form from five field types: short text, long text, single choice, multiple choice and rating. Each field can be marked required.
- Counts answers per option for choice fields, and reports the distribution and the average for rating fields.
- Lists written answers next to the name of the person who wrote each one.
- Replaces a person's earlier answer when they submit again, so the same person never stacks up duplicate responses.
- Closes a form when you stop taking answers, and reopens it if you need to.

The people answering are already your workspace members
There is no separate recipient list to build. Answers carry the name that is registered in the organization, so working out who has not responded yet never means reconciling against another list.
It uses your workspace permissions as they stand
A form can be edited or deleted by the master and sub-master roles and by whoever created it. There is no per-app permission set to configure.

- Collecting sign-ups for an event or a training session, and reading a count instead of tallying replies scattered across chat.
- Running the same satisfaction survey each quarter and watching how the average rating moved.
- Gathering written opinions before a policy change, and seeing which concerns came from whom.
Frequently asked questions
Are answers anonymous?
No. Each answer is shown with the name registered in the organization. This screen is not the right tool for a survey that has to be anonymous.
Can I change the fields after the form is out?
Only while there are no answers yet. Once a response has arrived, editing is refused so that changed fields cannot leave earlier and later answers inconsistent.
What happens if someone submits twice?
The later answer replaces the earlier one. One response is kept per person, which also means a respondent can correct their own answer.
Can I send a form to people outside the organization?
No. Only workspace members can answer. It is not built for surveying external customers.
